Urgent call made for revival of ‘Values and Attitudes Campaign’ amid upsurge in violence and aggression in society
An urgent call is being made for the revival of the ‘Values and Attitudes Campaign’ which was launched in the 1990s.
The call comes in the wake of an altercation between a female teacher and a student of the Tivoli Gardens High School yesterday (June 6).
The student is facing two charges arising from the incident.
Speaking with IRIE F-M news, General Secretary of the People’s National Party, Dr. Dayton Campbell said the Government must act swiftly in re-implementing the campaign.
Dr. Campbell said with the upsurge in violence and aggression in society, especially in schools, he believes there will be great support for the re-implementation of the values and attitude campaign.
