8-year-old Danielle Rowe laid to rest after a day of dramatic events
After a day of dramatic events 8-year-old Danielle Rowe who was murdered last month, has been laid to rest.
The funeral service for Danielle who was abducted from her school in Portmore, St. Catherine and killed on June 8, was held at the Portmore Seventh Day Adventist Church, this morning.
Scores of people, including government officials, members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and relatives were in attendance.
However, shortly after the ceremony got underway, several of Danielle’s relatives, including her mother walked out of the church.
One woman said to be Danielle’s aunt, claimed that it was due to government officials taking over the proceedings of the funeral.
Danielle was later laid to rest at the Meadowrest Memorial Park.
