A 72-year-old pedestrian was killed in a crash last evening in Free Town, Clarendon.

Dead is Lloyd Easy, a resident of Station Lane, in Free Town. 

Police say at about 9: 40 P.M., Easy was walking along the roadway when a grey Nissan Tiida motorcar veered to the right side of the road, hitting Easy and then crashing into a wall.

Easy was pronounced dead at hospital.

The senior citizen is the fourth pedestrian to have died after being mowed down by motorists on the nation’s roads since Friday.
