Five (5) people were killed in crashes on the nation’s roads during the first 5 days of the year.

Vice Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, Dr. Lucien Jones made the revelation today.

He said among the dead are a pedal cyclist, and 2 pedestrians.

Noting that the crashes occurred in different parishes, Dr. Jones reiterated that road fatalities must be prevented.
