A 5.3 Magnitude earthquake rocked the country Friday morning.

The Earthquake unit says the moderate earthquake occurred at  8:01 am.

The epicentre was located approximately 6 km North East of Golden Spring, St Andrew .

The quake had a focal depth of  27 km

The Unit says  the quake was felt island wide.
