Four hundred and ninety-five point eight billion dollars ($495.8B) has been allocated for the compensation of public sector employees.

Finance Minister Fayval Williams made the announcement  during the opening of the Budget Debate in Parliament, yesterday.

She said the allocation includes new pay rates for Medical Consultants, and Parish Court Judges.
