A 48 hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Whitehall Avenue, St. Andrew following yesterday’s fatal shooting incident.

Three persons were shot, two fatally. 

Dead are 49-year-old Lancelot Whitlock, a labourer of Cameron Lane in Whitehall and 37 year old Calvin Blackman otherwise called “English” from England. 

Police say a group of men was at a bar when gunmen attacked, killing Whitlock and Blackman.

Another man who sustained gunshot wounds was admitted to hospital for treatment. 

Head of the St. Andrew North Police, Acting Superintendent Randy Sweeney says lawmen have increased their presence in the area.

He says the police are following several investigative leads in their probe of the double murder.
