300 additional overseas line workers expected to arrive this weekend
Over three hundred (300) additional line workers from overseas are expected in the island this weekend to help the Jamaica Public Service Company with post hurricane melissa restoration efforts.
Approximately 300 linemen are already in Jamaica.
JPS President and Chief Executive Officer Hugh Grant gave the update at a press briefing in Montego Bay, St. James.
Mr. Grant added that JPS will also receive more equipment and utility vehicles.
