Three people were shot two fatally in Bigwoods, Craighead, Manchester last night. 

Dead are 39-year-old businesswoman Tanesha Burton otherwise called Browning and 74-year-old Wilford Mallison, otherwise called Danny, both of the community.

Reports are that at about 10 P.M., residents heard loud explosions and alerted the police. 

On their arrival three people were found with gunshot wounds. 

They were taken to hospital where Burton and Mallison were pronounced dead while the other man was admitted for treatment.

Meanwhile, residents say they are shocked following the incident in the quiet farming community.

One man who identified himself as Henry, says he was surprised to hear of the double murder.
