25 men charged in Seprod fraud to return to court on May 31
The 25 men charged in connection with the alleged 160-million-dollar fraud at Seprod Group of Companies were ordered to return on May 31, when they appeared in court today.
Twenty-four of the men are on bail in the sum of $400,000 each with sureties.
On their return to court the judge will impose conditions to their bail.
Meantime, one of the accused Jason Grant remains in custody pending a bail application to be made by his lawyer CJ Mitchell.
The court was told that the case file is incomplete.
The men are charged in relation to the multi-million dollar fraud which allegedly began in October 2021.
The crown is alleging that approximately $160 million was stolen from the company.
