23 matches in ICC Women’s T/20 World Cup to be staged in Sharjah and Dubai
The 23 matches at the ICC Women’s T/20 World Cup 2024 will be shared between two venues in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to compete for the trophy.
Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches with 12 to be contested at the Dubai International Stadium including the final on October 20.
The tournament will get underway at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 3, with the opening double-header matches, featuring Bangladesh vs Scotland and Pakistan up against Sri Lanka.
Sharjah will also host the second semi-final on October 18, with other standout matches including the group A’ clash between India and defending champion Australia.
Sharjah will host two crucial matches on October 4, when 2023 finalists, South Africa take on 2016 Champions West indies before India oppose New Zealand.
The Caribbean women are drawn in group B’ : alongside England, Scotland, South Africa and Bangladesh.
