222 persons have died in crashes since the start of the year
222 persons have died on the nation’s roads since the start of the year.
That’s according to Vice Chairman of the National Road Safety Council Dr. Lucien Jones.
He said July recorded 20 road fatalities, compared to 26 in June and 38 each in February and March.
Dr. Jones said with five months left in the year, if the country can continue on this path, it will record fewer road deaths than the 425 last year.
