According to the Constabulary Force as at Saturday November 22 Jamaica recorded 604 homicides.

This is in comparison to the 1,041 in the corresponding period last year.

St. Andrew South, recorded the most murders with 70, followed by St. Catherine North with 57.

Portland recorded the least with 9, followed by Trelawny with 12.

In the meantime, rape cases are down by 104.

While robberies increased by 54 and break-ins by 166.
