The Government is moving to decommission some shelters and have the occupants relocated to another facility, so that the buildings can be returned to their normal function.

Speaking at a press briefing yesterday he pointed out that the Government is exploring options relating to the establishment of purpose built shelters.

Dr Holness stressed that schools have to be back in operation soon.

As such, social workers have been deployed to assess each occupant’s situation.
