Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has pointed out that his administration is able to provide the public with the necessary amenities and services because Government has fixed what he called the engine of delivery.
Speaking today at the launch of the Western Resilience Water Project in Trelawny, Dr. Holness noted the concerns and complaints of citizens about not having adequate resources such as water supply.
Dr. Holness said the Government is now able to address those concerns, because it has been able to manage the country’s economy properly.
He lamented that for far too long citizens have not been able to understand the economy and its importance to the provision of the resources they need.
Dr. Holness said not factoring in the economy means challenges for health, national security and infrastructure.
He stressed that the economy remains in a fragile state.
