199 people killed in road crashes since the start of the year

The number of people killed in crashes on the nation’s roads since the start of the year is nearing 200.

In a release today, the Island Traffic Authority said 199 road deaths have been recorded up to this morning.

Among the latest fatalities are 15-year-old Shadore Patterson and 38-year-old Zescha Mundell Both of Orange Bay, Hanover and 68-year-old Wellington Douglas of Liberty Estate Port Maria St. Mary. 

Shadore and Mundell died in a motorcycle crash in Hanover, last evening.

While, Douglas died after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle crash in Richmond, St. Ann on Wednesday.
