The search for the Grade 5 New Hope Primary student was called off last evening due to poor visibility.

Reports are that the boy was making his way home after school was dismissed at about 2:30 P.M., when he fell in a gutter and was swept out to sea.

Members of the security forces and residents participated in yesterday’s search.

The Jamaica Defence Force’s aerial assets were also deployed.
