Laboratory staff at three health facilities in western Jamaica are off the job.
The Union of Technical, Administrative and Supervisory Personnel (UTASP) says workers from Savanna La Mar, Falmouth and Cornwall Regional Hospitals are protesting what they say is the lack of response from the Western Regional Health Authority to longstanding unresolved issues.
They are joined by health records staff from the Savanna La Mar Hospital.
The protest began at 8 this morning.
UTASP General Secretary St Patrice Ennis, who is with the workers at Cornwall Regional, spoke with IRIE FM News a short while ago.
