The son of reggae artist Jah Mason was shot and killed while live on popular social media app TikTok, last evening.
Dead is Jabari Johnson, otherwise called “Baba Skeng”.
Johnson was along Red Hills Road in St. Andrew, playing a game on TikTok, when he was approached from behind by a masked gunman who shot him to the head and upper body.
The attacker fled the scene on foot.
Johnson was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Johnson is the latest individual to be shot and killed live on TikTok in recent months.
Last December, TikTok influencer Zavier Fogah, otherwise called ‘Niah Gang’ died in a similar incident.
In the same month, 23-year-old Marlon Samuels, also known as “41 Busshead” was also shot and killed while on TikTok Live.
The police are investigating the incidents.
