This morning, Minister Vaz revealed that he received numerous complaints about the increase which has not been approved by the ministry.

He said to facilitate investigations into the incidents, commuters should report them to the Transport Authority, via Whatsapp at 876-297-8515 or 876-551-8196.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of the Transport Authority, Ralston Smith is reminding PPV operators that charging commuters more than the approved fare is illegal, and if found guilty of this offence, they will be prosecuted and may be fined up to 100,000 dollars.
