Three people died in motor vehicle crashes across the island over the past 24 hours.
The crashes occurred in St. Ann, Hanover and Manchester.
In the latest incident at 4:00 A.M., a female succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash along the Salt Creek Main Road in Hanover.
Preliminary reports indicate the accident involved a Nissan AD Wagon and a Honda Grace motor car.
The deceased woman’s identity has not yet been released.
Meanwhile, a pedal cyclist was killed in a crash along the Drax Hall Main Road in St. Ann at about 11:45 P.M. last night.
Reports are that the unidentified man was riding along the roadway in the vicinity of Knutsford Express when he was hit by a Toyota Probox motor car.
He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
And at around 5:15 P.M. on Sunday, 29-year-old Kevin Knight was killed in a collision along Pusey Hill Main Road in Manchester.
Reports from the police are that Knight was driving along the roadway when he lost control while navigating a right turn.
The motorcycle ran off the road into bushes.
Police were alerted to the scene, and Knight was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The three fatalities bring the total number of people killed in motor vehicle crashes since the start of January to 30.
