Jamaican pacer Marquino Mindley is one of two fast bowlers, along with Jediah Blades, that have been drafted into the West Indies Men’s ODI squad for the upcoming three match CG United One Day International series against Bangladesh in St Kitts & Nevis.

The pair will replace Shamar Joseph who is suffering from shin splints following the completion of the Test series and Matthew Forde who will continue rehabilitation from a a sustained injury.

Mindley, who is earning his maiden call-up, justified his selection after taking 20 wickets in the recent CG United Super 50 tournament to finish as the most successful fast bowler but second overall behind Leeward Islands Hurricanes spinner Rahkeem Cornwall who took 23.
