Comedienne/ Actor Christopher “Johnny” Daley is beaming with pride after being cast in the HBO short series “Get Millie Black”. The talented comedian took to Instagram to express his gratitude and share his excitement about working on the project.
Daley shared a photo of himself and co-star Joseph Maxwell Dempsie, who plays a detective in the series, holding rifles in a scene from the show. He captioned the post, expressing his pleasure at working with the cast and crew of “Get Millie Black”.
The Channel 4/HBO mini-series, created by award-winning author Marlon James, follows the story of Millie Black, played by Tamara Lawrance, an ex-Scotland Yard detective who returns to Jamaica and becomes embroiled in a gripping missing person case. The five-episode limited series premiered on HBO Max on November 25, with new episodes airing every Monday.
