A student of Knox College in Spalding, Clarendon has been hospitalized following a stabbing incident at the institution, this afternoon.
Irie FM News understands that the incident involved two grade 11 students.
Preliminary reports are that at about 1:30 PM, the two students got into a confrontation.
A knife was brought into play and one of the students allegedly stabbed the other.
The wounded schoolboy was taken to hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
The incident comes on the heels of two similar violent incidents last week.
In the first incident on Wednesday, a 16-year-old Porus High student was hospitalized after being stabbed by another during an altercation on the school’s compound.
The second incident in Trelawny involved a vendor who allegedly slashed two male Holland High School students with a knife following a dispute.
