61-year-old Michael ‘Ital’ Lumley was shot and killed by unknown assailants in St. Mary on Monday October 21.
Speaking with Music News Quick Cook said his dad celebrated his birthday on Sunday October 20 and was killed the following day. The entertainer who is currently overseas says his family his shaken up by the incident.

According to reports Lumley was sitting in his yard around 7:15 pm when a silver Toyota Axio motor car stopped at the gate, two men alighted from the vehicle, entered the yard and approached Lumley. The gunmen reportedly opened fire hitting him in his left shoulder before escaping in the waiting motorcar. Lumley was taken to the Annotto Bay hospital where he was pronounced dead. No one else was injured in the attack.
