The search for two people who were washed away Thursday evening in a river in Castleton Gardens, St. Mary, will continue on Saturday.
This, as efforts by the police, Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) coast guards, and residents, to locate the individuals today were unsuccessful.
Head of the St. Mary police Superintendent Bobbette Morgan Simpson told IRIE FM News, that the two were among a group of persons visiting the river yesterday when the incident occurred.
She said attempts to locate the two missing persons had to be called off earlier today, due to poor visibility and inclement weather.
Superintendent Morgan Simpson is advising citizens to be cautious during the rainy season.
