There will be an introduction of a group format for the round of 16 in the Manning Cup, instead of the typical round-of-32 knockout format, but the format of the Dacosta Cup, Champions Cup, Ben Francis Cup and Walker Cup remains the same. 

This conformation coming from the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) at the launch of the 2024 ISSA/Schoolboy football season last night at the National Stadium. 

Some 125 schools in total 85 in the Dacosta Cup and 40 in the Manning Cup will compete in this year’s staging, which ill have it opening at the Catherine Hall Sports Complex in Montego Bay on September 14.

The final of the Dacosta Cup is set for December 7, while the Manning Cup final is set for day earlier on December 6 .

Mona High are the defending champions in the Manning Cup while Clarendon College are the title holders in the Dacosta Cup and the All-Island Olivier Shield play-off.
