2024 Champions Cavalier FC hunts all three points against Cibao FC

2024 champions Cavalier FC will be hunting all three points against Dominican Republic opponents Cibao FC, but they’ll be giving their rivals the respect they’ve earned.
That’s when the Jamaican outfit kick-starts its CONCACAF Caribbean Cup campaign tomorrow in the Dominican Republic.
That’s the word from Cavalier Technical Director Rudolph Spied.
The two teams met in the 2024 championship final, where Cavalier lifted the title after securing a three-two aggregate victory over the two-leg tie.
Group B also features fellow Jamaican clubs Portmore United and Mount Pleasant, who captured the Caribbean Shield title last weekend, along with another Dominican Republic club, Salcedo F-C .
Cavalier FC is the only club in Caribbean Cup history to have reached two finals in 2023 and 2024.
The club also holds the record among Jamaican teams for the most Caribbean Cup victories with ten, and the most goals scored with forty.
