Two tropical storms formed in the Caribbean this morning.

The first was Tropical Storm Nadine, forming near Belize.

It will make landfall in Belize later today.

At around 10am Tropical Storm Oscar formed near the Bahamas.

It is expected to bring rainfall to several Caribbean countries including Turks and Caicos, Haiti and Cuba.

The Met Service says while Tropical Storm Oscar is currently not a threat to Jamaica, its projected track is being monitored.

It added that rains associated with the systems are in the forecast through Monday.
