2 stalls affected by fire at a section of Pearnel Charles Arcade
Two stalls at the Pearnel Charles Arcade in Kingston were affected by a fire that broke out in a section of the arcade today.
This is the second fire at the facility, following a previous incident in November of last year.
The fire occurred about 1:20 P.M.
Acting Superintendent of the York Park Fire Station, Barrington Marshall explained that the cause of the fire is still undetermined.
Chief Executive Officer of the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation, Robert Hill, who also visited the scene, stated that a meeting will be held with the leadership of the arcade to discuss how to move forward in providing assistance to those affected.
