Two people were killed in separate crashes in Hanover yesterday.

One of the deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Tyla Roberts of Mosquito Cove, Lucea, Hanover.

The name of the other victim an 18-year-old woman has not been released.

Roberts died of injuries sustained in the latest incident along the Lances Bay Main Road at around 8:45 P.M.

Reports are that he was driving a motorcycle when upon reaching a section of the road the bike collided with 2 motor vehicles.

Roberts sustained several injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

And in the other incident lawmen say at around 6:00 P.M. a Toyota Rav-4 and a Toyota Premio motorcar crashed along the Norman Manley Boulevard.

Reports are that the 18-year-old woman who was a passenger aboard one the vehicles was pronounced dead at hospital.
