2 arrested and to be extradited to US after major anti-narcotics joint operation in St James and Kingston early this morning
Two people are to be extradited to the United States after they were arrested in a major anti-narcotics joint operation in St James and Kingston early this morning.
The Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) made the revelation on its Twitter page.
MOCA noted that several major players in the narco-trafficking trade were also nabbed in the operation.
Other agencies involved in the operation are the police’s Narcotics Division, The Counter Terrorism & Organized Crime Investigations Branch, The Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team, The Financial Investigations Divisions, The Jamaica Defence Force; the United States Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Marshals.
