16th annual Reggae Month celebrations kick-off
The 16th annual reggae month celebrations kicked off on Sunday morning with a service at the Fellowship Tabernacle, in Kingston.
Several representatives from the Jamaican music fraternity joined Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange at the launch event held under the theme ”Celebrating Reggae’s Message of One Love.”
Reggae month has been celebrated annually in February since 2008.
Speaking during the ceremony, Ms. Grange noted that there are a number of events lined up for reggae month.
Among the events for the month are tributes to Dennis Brown and Bob Marley and the Reggae Gold Awards.
