$16 M study on substance abuse to be conducted in 2023
A major $16 million study on substance abuse is to be conducted, in 2023.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton, made the revelation during a press briefing, on Thursday.
He said the study will focus on commonly abused substances, such as alcohol.
Dr. Tufton said he is hopeful, that the study, which will be driven by the National Council on Drug Abuse, will help to prevent substance abuse.
