13 State Ministers and 1 Parliamentary Secretary sworn in
Jamaica House says that with the appointments of the State Ministers and the Parliamentary Secretary, the Andrew Holness administration reiterates its commitment to fulfilling its mandate to transform Jamaica into a peaceful, productive and prosperous nation.
The new appointees were officially sworn in today by Governor-General, Sir Patrick Allen.
- Kerensia Morrison will serve in the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.
- Krystal Lee has been appointed to Health and Wellness.
- Tova Hamilton will serve in Tourism.
- Rhoda Moy Crawford is the State Minister for Education, Skills, Youth and Information.
- Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert will serve in Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
- Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn has been appointed to National Security and Peace.
- Delroy Williams is the Minister of State for Local Government and Community Development, while his brother, Donovan Williams, will serve in Labour and Social Security.
- Former Tourism State Minister Delano Seiveright has been reassigned to Industry, Investment and Commerce.
- Alando Terrelonge will serve in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
- Zavia Mayne is the State Minister for Finance and the Public Service.
- Franklyn Witter retains his post in the Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining Ministry.
- Senator Abka Fitz-Henley will serve in the Office of the Prime Minister.
Senator Marlon Morgan has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information.
