100 Y/O woman to be celebrated in St. Ann today
Eat well, sleep well, live well and serve God.
That’s the advice 100 year old Ada May Douglas has for Jamaicans seeking to live a long life.
Ms. Douglas who was born on April 21, 1925 in Manchester, will be celebrated today June 21, 2025, 100 years after her birth was officially registered.
The centenarian who had migrated to England in earlier years now resides at the Gifted Hands Home in Discovery Bay, St. Ann.
The operator of that facility Karleen Jackson, says a special ceremony is being held in Runaway Bay for Ms. Douglas.
Ms. Jackson explains that Ms. Douglas’ relatives and many well wishers will be in attendance.
She said King Charles III is also expected to send a Telegraph.
And, Ms. Douglas told Irie FM News that it feels good to be 100.
She shared her secrets to a long life.
