Grammy winning Dancehall superstar Sean Paul and Reggae superstar Damian Jnr Gong Marley have made Billboard magazine’s list of 100 Best Songs of 2005.

Sean Paul’s “We Be Burnin” is ranked at 86 on the list while Jnr Gong’s “Welcome to Jamrock” is ranked number 25 on the list.

 Speaking on “We Be Burnin”, Billboard notes that it is “one of several solo dancehall smashes from Paul during this era “ and  “defined just how enamored the States continued to be with reggae’s younger cousin.”

And on Gong’s megahit “Welcome to Jamrock”, Billboard described the song as “a mission statement for his home country” with an “iconic hook” adding that the track is “timeless and addictive.”
