7-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy perish in house fire along Smith Lane, Kingston

A house fire along Smith Lane in Downtown Kingston has claimed the lives of two children.
Police have identified them as seven-year-old Keriecia Hutchinson and four-year-old Samson Cameron.
Head of the Kingston Central Police, Superintendent Mishka Forbes, noted that, according to initial reports, the children were home alone when the fire erupted.
Firefighters are now on the scene.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
