The Water Resources Authority (WRA) says it will be conducting a dye tracing study today, involving the safe injection of yellow, non-toxic dye into the Moneague Lake Sink in St. Ann.
WRA is assuring residents that the dye poses no harm to human health or the environment.
It says if yellow discolouration is observed in Moneague Lake, there is no cause for alarm, as the dye is expected to naturally disappear within approximately 24 hours.
Dye tracing is a scientific method used to track the movement of water underground.
