Police seized nearly 300 pounds of vegetable matter believed to be ganja during a targeted raid in Harmony Hall, Claremont, St. Ann yesterday.
The operation was carried out at an unfinished two-storey concrete house where police say they found about 283 pounds of the substance in a downstairs room.
A further 10 pounds was found in a Nissan motor car at the property.
No arrests has been made in connection with the seizure, as no one was at the premises when the raid was conducted.
Investigations continue.
