Written byDwight Fraser

Defending champions Jamaica remain on course to retain their title after booking a place in the final of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under-14 Challenge Series with a one-nil victory over Bermuda earlier today.

Tai Sean Headley scored the all-important goal shortly after the halftime break to give Jamaica the lead.

It was Headley’s fourth goal of the competition so far.

Meanwhile, the victory was Jamaica’s fourth in the tournament, with the young Reggae Boyz scoring eight goals without conceding.

The Vassell Reynolds-coached Jamaicans had earlier topped Group C, Tier One, with a maximum nine points.

They opened the campaign with a four-nil victory over St. Kitts and Nevis, followed by a one-nil win over Aruba, before wrapping up the group stage with a two-nil blanking of Curaçao.

The young Reggae Boyz will now face Haiti in Sunday’s final, after the Haitians hammered hosts Dominican Republic six-one in their semifinal.
