It will cost the organizers approximately 12 million dollars to stage the two days 2026 Corporate Area Track and Field Championship, set for February 20 to 21st at the JC Ashenhiem Stadium in Kingston.
At this year’s staging approximately 2000 athletes representing the top schools in Kingston, will seek to push for qualification standards to next month’s Boys and Girls Athletics Championship.
Kingston College, the defending champions on the Boys side, will face stern competition from a resurgent Jamaica College and Calabar, while the nine times defending champions Excelsior High will be hard pressed by Immaculate High and Wolmers on the girls side.
Meanwhile, this year’s honourees are ” Ian Forbes the First Vice President of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association, David Riley -Deputy Chairman of the Competitions Commission of the JThree A’s and Former Jthree a’ starter Vinton Powell who will recognized posthumously,
