Fresh from their impressive season opener at the JAAA/Puma/Fuller Anderson meet on the weekend, World and Olympic Silver medaist Kishane Thompson and World Relay Silver medalist Tia Clayton will open their International campaign on the World Athletics Indoor Tour, in Stockholm on Thursday.

Thompson who clocked 6.52 seconds in the 60 meters at GC Foster College, will be joined by former national 100 meters champion Rohan Watson and the reigning world and European 60 meters champion Jeremiah Azu.

The line-up also includes 2024 european 100 meters bronze medallist Romell Glave of Great Britain, along with Slovakia’s Jan Volko and Italy’s Samuele Ceccarelli, the 2019 and 2023 European Indoor Champions, respectively.

On the women’s side, the 60 meters event will be led by Jamaican twin sisters Tina Clayton who was crowned National Sportswoman for 2025 and Tia Clayton who opened last Saturday with a personal best 7.02 seconds.

Both world 100 meter silver medallists, they were also key members of Jamaica’s silver medal-winning 4x100m relay team at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
