Skippa fires back at Sumfest CEO

Dancehall deejay Skippa is responding to comments made by Reggae Sumfest CEO Josef Bogdanovich during a recent interview with Anthony Miller.

Bogdanovich questioned whether entertainers like Skippa and Chronic Law can sell tickets. He also doubled down, stating that artistes at that level must earn their way up, maintain professionalism, and show up on time.

Skippa, who did not take kindly to the remarks, fired back, saying the CEO is not obligated to book him for the festival. He added that every artiste goes through phases on the journey to the top.

This year’s Reggae Sumfest, headlined by Vybz Kartel and Mavado for a highly anticipated Gaza/Gully experience, will be held at Plantation Cove.
