New York will over the next few weeks house a collection of art celebrating the life of the Marley matriarch, Nana Rita Marley.
The art exhibit titled The Garden that Rita Grew: My Grandma Rita, is on display at City Winery, New York and will run through to September 30.
Curated by filmmaker Donisha Prendergast, the granddaughter of Bob and Rita Marley, the exhibit is a tribute to the strength, resilience, and creativity of Rita Marley.
The showcase powered by Humanity Ova Vanity, features a collection of photographs and artwork that celebrates Rita Marley’s enduring legacy.
The exhibit is part of a two-month tribute to Rita Marley, which showcases her immense contributions to music, art, and culture.
All proceeds from the exhibition will go to the Rita Marley Girls Centre in Trench Town.
