Reggae Singer Nadine Sutherland celebrates O.D.

Family and friends came out in their droves to the Bob Marley Museum last night as Reggae Singer Nadine Sutherland celebrated receiving the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer (OD), bestowed on her by the Government of Jamaica earlier in the day.

Stalwarts of the industry such as Donovan Germain, Marcia Griffiths, Gussie Clarke, Pam Hall, Diane Jobson were only some of those celebrating with a jubilant Nadine Sutherland with tributes and in song.

An elated Sutherland said she felt validated for her years of service to the industry, describing it as an absolutely ‘sweet’ moment.
