YG Marley’s Praise Jah in the Moonlight earns gold and platinum certification

YG Marley’s Praise Jah in the Moonlight continues to make waves, reaping tremendous success internationally the most recent being new certifications in the USA and Canada.

On June 20, the song was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales and streaming exceeding 500,000 units.

Meanwhile in Canada, the song was certified platinum on Monday June 24.  The certification issued by Music Canada, celebrated sales and streaming in excess of 80,000 units.

Praise Jah in the Moonlight has been a global hit since its release in late 2023.

The song was written by YG and his mother Lauryn Hill, and samples his grandfather Bob Marley’s 1978 song “Crisis” performed with the Wailers.
