IRIE FM launches 35th Anniversary Celebrations

August 1, 2025, marks the 35th anniversary of IRIE FM.

A launch will be held in St. Ann later this evening to kick off IRIE 35 — featuring a series of celebrations including two major events in August.

On August 1, 1990, the late Karl Young launched IRIE FM — the first all-Reggae radio station, revolutionizing Jamaica’s music landscape and elevating Reggae on the global stage.
