Reggae Singer Max Romeo’s Tribute Concert set for Sunday, May 18, 2025

The family and friends of the late Reggae Singer, Max Romeo will be hosting a Tribute Concert at Skyline in Jacks hill on Sunday May 18, 2025 beginning at 9pm.

 This, according to sources close to the family.

The tribute concert comes on the heels of Romeo’s Thanksgiving Service set for this Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the  Louise Bennett Garden Theatre at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre at 11:30am.

Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia Grange who is extending support to the family in arranging the Service says  the Service will include tributes and live performances.

Romeo passed away on April 11, 2025. He was 80 years old.

He is known for hits such as “War inna Babylon”, “One Step Forward” and “Uptown Babies Don’t Cry.”
