Reggae Sumfest 2025, will feature a heartfelt tribute to some of reggae’s most beloved pioneers.
Set to unfold at the Catherine Hall Stadium, this year’s festival will feature a special segment on July 19 titled Tribute to the Legends, dedicated to honoring the musical legacies of Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Jimmy Riley, and the recently deceased Cocoa Tea.
The week-long celebration will showcase a mix of reggae, dancehall, and international music stars. Among the headliners are R&B icon Toni Braxton and Ghanaian songstress Moliy, alongside dancehall heavyweights Masicka, Govana, Skeng, Shaneil Muir, Moyann, Jamal, Harry Toddler, and Laden. Reggae luminaries such as Protoje, Bugle, Tarrus Riley, Lila Iké, I Wayne, and Fantan Mojah will also grace the stage.
Vybz Kartel will be officially crowned King of the Dancehall.
Beyond the main events, Reggae Sumfest 2025 will once again feature the pre-festival activities, including the Family Funday, Street Dance, All White Party, Blitz, and Global Fete.
Meanwhile festival organizer Joseph Bogdanovich hinted that another major international act will soon be added to the already impressive lineup.
